Bob and Steve both have a round of 74 nett to drop off their nett if they can do better in November.
If this is the case Steve will have to get a nett score two less than Bob to pass him. The other players are still in contention but will need to score in the low 60's to have any chance of knocking the leaders off.
In the Order of Merit Tony Baldwin shot from 7th place to the lead of the pack after recording a nett 65 in the monthly mug. This gave him second spot for the day in a countback and an impressive 2000 points. Third place in Saturday's comp, Bob Watson, picked up 1200 points. Ian Jeffery, the leader prior to Saturday, had a 75 nett and only picked up 176 points for coming 42nd on the day.
This leaves Tony Baldwin in the front followed by Ian Jeffery, Steve Kent, John Coote and Harry Edmonds.
Rob Walters recorded an excellent 9 under his handicap - nett 61 to take out the October Sutton Insurance Brokers Monthly Mug.
Grade winners were A Grade - Tony Baldwin, 65, B Grade - Bob Watson ,65, C/D Grade - Ashley Walters 66.
