Bush poet Murray Hartin will be in Inverell on Tuesday night for an event to celebrate small business.
Hosted by Inverell Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event is being held to mark Small Business Month.
As well as the renowned bush poet, there will be a presentation on business tax tips by Forsysths Financial, and some health advice from New England Chiropractic.
But Hartin is expected to be the most humourous part of the night.
For years he has entertained audiences with his unique style of Australian storytelling and poetry.
The event at Inverell RSM Club will start at 6pm, with guests arriving from 5.30pm, on Tuesday.
Cost is $10 for chamber members and $15 for non members. Bar will be open and light snack boxes will be provided.
- Bookings are essential, as guest numbers are limited to 76. RSVP via www.inverellchamber.com.au/choose-inverell and the chamber will will email you an invoice to reserve your seat.
