A dedicated, and what some might call crazy, bunch of riders have returned from an epic bike ride that saw them roll 230km from Inverell to Tamworth.
The Peelers, made up of locals from Inverell and Tamworth, a few police and even mayor Paul Harmon, completed the ride through Bundarra, Bingara, Barraba and Manilla to raise funds for NSW Police Legacy.

The group of 20 riders had to battle the sun but had a bit of luck with a tail wind to help drive them to Tamworth in less than eight hours on the bike.
They've not only clocked up the kilometres, but have raised more than $9,000 - the second highest fundraising tally in NSW for the ride, which had to change shape this year thanks to COVID.
