The power outage will be overnight on Saturday, February 20, from 9pm.
Essential Energy operations manager for the area Mark Summers said maintenance on the electricity network needed to be done, so the power must be switched off for safety.
He said there were parts of the electrical network that were "nearing end of life" and had to be replaced.

The overnight outage will impact all Bingara residents and some other locations in nearby areas.
"In addition to completing the works overnight, significant planning has also been undertaken to reduce the number of planned power outages required to complete the work to one, and to minimise its duration," Mr Summers said.
"Additional crews and equipment will be brought in from Inverell and Moree to help our Warialda crews complete the work."
The planned power outage is scheduled to take place from 9pm on Saturday, February 20, until 5am on Sunday, February 21.
Homes and businesses affected by the planned power outage will receive an official notification from Essential Energy.
The work is reliant on good weather, and residents will be kept informed if the maintanence has to be postponed.
