Inverell Shire Council mayor, Paul Harmon said he was thrilled Inverell would be hosting the visit from Australian Cricketers' Association and said locals will have a chance to see some of their favourite stars in action.
"Headline players include fan favourite, Greg Matthews, through to current Big Bash players such as the Renegades' Josh Lalor as well as two-time World Cup champion Julia Price," Cr Harmon said.

The two-day visit will include cricket clinics on Saturday and a T20 match on Sunday from 1pm with visiting stars and Inverell Cricket Association players in action. Entry to Varley Oval will be by gold coin donation.
"There will be a canteen in operation and also the Inverell Saints are running the bar for the T20 game, so we hope to see a big crowd along to enjoy the afternoon".
Kelly Applebee, ACA General Manager - Member Programs and Relations said the association was excited to help out the local cricket scene in Inverell.
"The ACA is excited to bring its Masters program to Inverell and give back to a community which was impacted by the bushfires last summer," she said.
"Our players place an enormous emphasis on helping out the community and we're looking forward to connecting with local cricket clubs and community members, and the tour will also provide a unique opportunity for local families to rub shoulders with some greats of the game."
COVID-19 safety measures will be in place at all events, and numbers will be capped at 3000 people at the unticketed T20 match.
Cricket Clinic with the Masters will be held on Saturday, 1-3pm -at Varley Oval, while a T20 Match vs Inverell Cricket Association will take place on Sunday, from 1pm at the same venue.
Night with the Masters is on Sunday, 5-7pm, at Inverell RSM Club. Tickets cost $5 per person or $20 / family.
