In less than a month Toni and Alex Ribero, and their sons Hunter and Aiden swam 500 laps - 25km - of the Inverell Swimming Pool
Laps for Life was created to raise funds and awareness for young people in Australia living with mental health difficulties and to help prevent youth suicide.

Toni said her family had set a goal to swim 400 laps - which is 20km - to raise money for this great service over the month of March.
On Sunday they completed an extra 5km swim, which took them past their original goal.
"On social media we said we'd do 20km, then we did it and we still had a week to go, so we decided we'd get our money up to $500 and do an extra five kilometres."
Toni said as well as completing the swim and raising the money, the family's goal was to support people in the community who are struggling with mental health.
Laps for Life was created to raise funds and awareness for young people in Australia living with mental health difficulties and to help prevent youth suicide.
Laps for Life was set up by ReachOut Australia and sees an individual or group set a goal to swim a certain distance throughout the month of March, and then raise funds from friends, family and their community to hep prevent youth suicide.
ReachOut Australia works to ensure that all young Australians have the support they need to be happy and well.
On their website it states: "ReachOut is Australia's leading online mental health organisation for young people and their parents. Our practical support, tools and tips help young people get through anything from everyday issues to tough times".
Available for free anytime and pretty much anywhere, ReachOut is accessed by 132,000 people in Australia every month.
