He's launching a BBQ Rib competition that is set to turn up the heat for locals.
Inverell residents will take up the tongs to cook the best rack of ribs, aiming to take home a the stack of prizes on offer.

You will have to bring your own barbeque and everything you need to make you "legendary" ribs, but the meat will be supplied on the day.
Set to take place at the first game for the Inverell Highlanders, April 17, the aim is to raise money for Beyond Blue.
"I'm inspired by the work that Beyond Blue does and want to support them," Monte said.
"I am someone who lives with Mental illness and I know how important Beyond Blue has been to my journey."
The fundraising has already started, and can be found on the Beyond Blue's website under 'Monte's BBQ Rib Challenge".
"Every donation helps and makes a significant impact to mental health in Australia, so thank you for your generosity."
