Volunteers are an integral part of the Inverell Home Support Program's services, delivering 7600 hours of face to face services to residents of the Inverell and Ashford communities.
"The luncheon is an opportunity for us to say thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers that give up their time to assist us in delivering services to the community," said services manager, Sally Walters.

"We have volunteer drivers which provide transport services to eligible members of the community to attend medical appointments in towns such as Armidale and Tamworth or drive our social lunch buses," Mrs Walters said.
"We also have volunteers that assist passengers on our social lunch buses when we head out to places like Glen Innes or Graman for lunch," she said.
"Some of our volunteers prefer to assist in our activities rooms located at our Inverell or Ashford sites, having a fun filled day with our seniors groups.
"Each day is different and might include games, singing, creative arts and time is always spent sharing a meal with friends," she added.
Inverell Home Support Program acknowledges it's time to 'Recognise. Reconnect. Reimagine.' volunteering in Australia and wishes to thank all of its volunteers for the vital role they play in supporting their community.
