But now the book, and store, will close on Saturday as Fiona Ritchie and hubby Bruce prepare for their next edition involving a sea-change to the coast.
It all started 20 years ago when she couldn't find nice clothes for herself in town.

"I saw a niche in Inverell, a real demand for plus-size clothing," she told the Times.
In 2000, she opened up a craft shop and then expanded it in 2002 into a clothing store.
Little did she know how the ripples of that move would affect so many.
"I didn't know how much of an impact I've had on people, until now I'm leaving," she said.
The emotional farewells have come from left, right and centre, especially from her many regulars, who come from all walks of life, all abilities and all sizes.
"It's not only a business, and I mean the money and the bottom line will always be important, but it's been about friendships, fundraising and fashion," she said.
"You learn to listen and help. You do make a difference in people's lives - I've come to realise that this fortnight."
Over the years, she's held countless fashion parades, raising money for local organisations and events, like McClean Care, hockey groups and many more.
She's had her family grow up in the store, work in the store and learn retail and service in the store, and she has no doubt the shop will be a cornerstone in her family's history.
"Tash worked here, and Rosie, she was nine when she first picked up the vacuum here - she's 21 now!" she laughed.
The decision to move to the coast is the right one for them, she said, getting some coastal air and starting again.
"Inverell will still be the prettiest town you'll find anywhere," she noted.
But what she'll miss the most: "the chatting. The listening. The friendships that've been formed over the years. Over everything, the friendships."
"Bruce and I - and none of this would've happened without him - would like to thank everyone for their support over the years."
