A big, prop cheque did nothing to encapsulate the generous spirit of Inverell's BEST Community Shed team.

That generosity was instead felt in the heart of Josie McCormick from the Grace Munro Centre, as she received their $5000 donation.
"I'm so very thankful on behalf of the residents," Ms McCormick said.
"It will greatly improve their experience at the centre.

"We are lucky to have the Shed here, and to receive their donation - especially one this big, we were not expecting it!"
The centre is full up, with 11 residents in their care.
The money will be spent on everyday items, like brand new towels, outdoor coverings and more, to help jazz up their time in care.
Robyn Kenny, the BEST Community Shed's shop coordinator, said their donation was made possible thanks to the giving nature of the Inverell community.
"People are so generous to us, so we like to give that back to the community," she explained.
"These profits that we make, we've passed all that on from the Shed to Grace Munro."
Attending the Shed's opening four years ago, MP Adam Marshall was a special guest at the cheque handover, staying for a cuppa and a chat afterwards.
