What followed was five days of extensive land and air searches, including New England and local police officers, Police Rescue Squad, PolAir, Police Dog Squad, SES, RFS, Ambulance, police divers - and a host of volunteers both on foot, on trail bikes, horses and more.
Those search efforts helped locate a body in the Pindaroi area at about 11am on Monday.
