"You think, what do I do? What can I do? It's a very dismal sort of a feeling," he told the Times.
Inverell Police have now located two out of the three stolen motorbikes near Boggabilla, however are yet to lay charges as investigations continue.

Mr Strang says being "very angry" is an understatement, and said it was heart-wrenching to know his bikes and his store had, again, been treated in the most disrespectful way.
Acting Inspector Ross Chilcott said a tip-off from the community lead them straight to the stolen two-wheelers.
"A member of the community supplied is with information as to where the bikes were stashed," he said.
They were found abandoned in the river at Toomelah Station, near Boggabilla.
The theft happened last Tuesday night, where three 2021 model bikes - an RR200 Beta, KX250 Kawasaki and CRF450 Honda - were stolen.
CCTV camera footage captures several people loading the bikes up onto a "getaway car" allegedly stolen from Queensland.
It's the second theft in less than a year. It follows on from the first a ram raid attack in December, where two offenders used a stolen ute to ram the front of the store, making off with tens of thousands of dollars worth of bikes.
I'm very angry. Insurance doesn't cover things like the grief of loosing equipment, and the feeling of just being broken into again. You think, what do I do? What can I do? It's a very dismal sort of a feeling.

Mr Strang said after that incident, he had installed bollards and upgraded the security system - but while they couldn't ram the store this time, he alleges they got the crowbar out and managed to break internal locks on the sliding doors.
He said "crooks these days should be embarrassed - no idea how to load bikes" and was left in shock after watching CCTV footage of the theft in action.
"They were pretty rough indoors, they just threw things around, just threw the new bikes onto the back of the ute - and then two fell off onto the bitumen - it was not the conventional way of the loading bikes," he said.
"I'm very angry. Insurance doesn't cover things like the grief of loosing equipment, and the feeling of just being broken into again."
No charges have been made by police in the most recent theft, however their investigations are continuing.
