Glow Up events is preparing to visit the Sapphire City for the first time, and event organiser Anne Demasi says COVID-19 won't hold them back.
"This is the first time we've come to Inverell. We're excited to bring this and hopefully it all goes well," she said.

"We love Inverell! We've visited there before, years ago, and we had a really good response. We're going to Moree, Tamworth, and we thought let's visit Inverell while we're there."
She said COVID-19 is always there in the background, but with the current restrictions not limiting their events, they're happy to trust that people to do the right thing when it comes to following health guidelines.
"I think as long as you do what the health advice has asked, and people follow that - masks, check in, sanitiser, not standing too close - I'm confident that we shouldn't have any issues."
The "family focused" event will have a magic show, a dance floor, food and dessert stalls, jumping castles and a myriad of LED animal sculptures - with prizes for the best dressed.
"When you see something lit up at night, it seems different, that nice atmosphere, and it's a fun night out," Ms Demasi enthused.
"I actually love the light installations, they are my favourite. A massive tiger, gorilla, really awesome dome spears that flash all different colours. People take photos with them, and they look really awesome!
"I also love it when people get dressed up!"
A glow-in-the-dark tent for glasses, headbands and other glow items will be available for purchase during the evening.
Gates open on Saturday at the Inverell Showground at 4.30pm, with the magic show running from 4.40pm - 5.10pm Magic Show, followed by the Hula hoop performance and competition and finishing with the Best Dressed Comp at 7.30pm.
