Between Wednesday and Friday last week, Traffic and Highway Patrol officers from Moree were deployed out to the area to help out general duties officers attached to the Boggabilla Police Station.
The move came in response to "numerous complaints from the community", and resulted in well over 50 hits for drivers breaking the road rules and those caught with drugs.

Further deployments will occur to assist with reducing traffic and criminal offences occurring in and around the Boggabilla township.

During the operation, two cars were also stopped and found to have children unrestrained.
