Inverell become one of many regional centres removed from the statewide, COVID-19 lockdown over the weekend after it was deemed a low-risk area.
Low-risk areas includes locations that have had zero COVID cases for at least 14 days.
The lifting of stay-at-home orders was announced by the premier last Thursday, as well as the NSW roadmap to reopening once the state's double-dose vaccination rate hits 70 per cent.
For areas where the lockdown was lifted there are increased freedoms, however a number of restrictions remain in place.
