The upgrade is all thanks to a $10,000 grant from TransGrid's Community Partnership Program, augmented by a donation of $4,434, raised by the Dumaresq substation staff and suppliers, and is set to be completed for the start of the next school year.
The little school on the border with just seven students, may be small but is full of heart, heart which had TransGrid Project Officer Peter Doherty enraptured.

"I attended the ANZAC Day service at Bonshaw Public School and was blown away by not just the friendliness of the community, but also of its resilience," Mr Doherty said.
He explained that employees and suppliers were pleased to raise money for the school via direct donations and a fundraising barbecue.
Bonshaw Public School Principal Kim Newton was "delighted" to be able to upgrade existing equipment for her students.
"We can now install new playground equipment to promote gross motor skills and support the imagination, dexterity and the physical, cognitive and emotional strength of our students," said Ms Newton.
Ms Newton said the past five years have been tough for the Bonshaw School community, so anything like this that lifts spirits is welcomed with open arms.
"We have experienced extreme drought followed by major flooding, as well as having to contend with COVID-19 and its restrictions," she said.
For almost two years, the P&C have been handicapped without their traditional fundraising activities which not only puts gold in the coffers but also brings the community together
"But we are a strong community, with the school as a central part of the town," she stated.
"The TransGrid grant means a great deal to us and to the students.
"We look forward to seeing the excitement and great fun they will have playing on the new playground. This is a project that will benefit many students' school life for years to come."
Executive Manager of Delivery Craig Stallan said TransGrid was proud to support the Bonshaw community and its public school.
"Our Dumaresq substation is located near Bonshaw and we've been a part of this community, as an employer and neighbour, for 21 years," said Mr Stallan.
"The Community Partnership Program helps us provide support and real benefits to the regional communities on our network," he said.
