Inverell trainer Dean Smith made the trip across the Great Dividing Range a successful one when Crème De Vin won the opening race at Sunday's Lismore meeting.

It capped off a winning weekend, with Smith's Magic Mia saluting in the Blue Gem Contracting Maiden Plate (1400m) at Saturday's Inverell meeting.
The three-year-old bay or brown filly notched her first win at her fifth start when finishing more than a length-and-a-half clear of Nicole Shields' Voight.
Creme De Vin was then on Sunday having her first start at Lismore and collected her first win at her 14th start in the $24,000 Lismore Workers Club Class 1 & Maiden Plate (2110m).
It was also four-year-old daughter of Bull Point's first attempt at the 2110m as well.
Smith was one of two Inverell trainers to taste success on their home track on Saturday with Todd Payne's Newcastle Dancer romping to a six-length win over the fellow Inverell-trained Derby Star (Nathaniel Scott) in the Stevens Contracting Benchmark 50 Handicap (1100m).
It was the 10-year-old's 11th career win and first since Inverell's Boxing Day meeting.
Payne had spoken leading in of his excitement to be racing at Inverell again with Saturday's meeting the club's first since March. Their meeting in July was transferred to Moree as a result of wet weather. Then their meeting earlier this month was abandoned for the same reasons.
On Saturday the honours were shared around.
Stephen Dixon's California Spell was a narrow winner in the opening race the Macintyre Gas Maiden Handicap (1500m), the Tamworth trainer also picking up third with Keep No Secrets.
Jane Clement's Hardyo was a five-length winner in the Sign Print Stitch Benchmark 50 Handicap (1400m).
