They were asked the following:
- What is your vision for the Inverell region?
- What do you think is the single most important issue facing the Inverell area?
- What projects/developments do you intend to advocate for if elected as a councillor?
- What expertise or attributes do you have?
These eleven candidates will be standing for election to one of the nine positions for the Inverell Shire Council, which will be held next month.
Voters will go to the ballot box on the first Saturday in December - while pre-polling opens on Monday - and among the names to choose from are six current councillors who are running again, and five new faces.
Councillors standing again are Di Baker, Paul King, Paul Harmon, Kate Dight, Stewart Berryman and Jackie Watts.
Among the new faces is a former councillor, Phil Girle and a former chamber of commerce president, Nicky Lavender, running for the first time.
New faces also include businesswoman Wendy Wilks, former art gallery manager Jo Williams and John Ross.
