Moree added only one new infection in today's numbers, after recording 11 new cases on Monday.
While Tamworth enjoyed a donut day yesterday, one new case has been reported up to 8pm last night.
Across the Hunter New England Health (HNEH) district there have been 16 new cases confirmed in the latest update, almost half the numbers from the day before.
Five of the patients were in isolation for their entire infectious period and 11 were infectious in the community.

Of the 16 cases across the health district, 13 are linked to known exposures or clusters and three are currently unlinked.
HNEH has released testing rates which show that testing has dropped off dramatically.
Last Monday 15th there were 248 tests conducted in Inverell which fell to 110 by Friday. In Armidale there were 242 swabs at the starts of the week, then down to 93. And for the same dates in Moree there were 275 compared to 167 later in the week.
NSW recorded 173 new infections and two deaths in the 24 hour period to 8pm Monday.
Across the state, 91.9 per cent of eligible residents aged over 16 have been fully vaccinated and 94.4 per cent have received their first jab.
