A MAN was taken to hospital on Wednesday morning (November 24) after being charged by a bull on a NSW North Coast property.

The incident occurred on a property at Coralville on Bakers Road near Moorland at around 8am.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said paramedics responded and provided care for the man in his 60s who was suffering from suspected head and shoulder injuries.
Initially, two crews and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter including a critical care doctor and critical care paramedics, were dispatched to the scene.
He was transported to Port Macquarie Base Hospital in a stable condition.

NSW Ambulance Inspector Josh Smyth said the man was alert and able to responds to treatment.
"Initial reports suggested the man had been charged by a bull and knocked over," Mr Smyth said.
"It's not often we respond to a job involving a bull or an animal, but thankfully the man was fully alert and talking to us which was a positive sign.
"You need to be ready for anything working around animals."
