A man from Glen Innes has died from Covid-19, according to Hunter New England Health District.

The man from the Glen Innes Severn local government area was in his 80s, and was listed as a fatality alongside another man in his 70s from the Maitland local government area on Monday.
The news follows that of the death of an Inverell man in his 90s, and a Tamworth man in also in his 90s on March 30.

"Our sincere condolences go out to their family and friends," A HNEH spokesperson said.
There are currently 75 COVID-19 cases receiving care in hospitals across the Hunter New England Local Health District, and seven in intensive care units.
