Students said making and playing with new friends, being nice and kind and learning new things were the best part of school.
Mrs Attwood, teacher in Kinder Green said the enthusiasm was irrepressible.
“They did know it was a special day today, yesterday they told me it was day 99, and today they knew it was day 100,” she grinned.
Kinder Red teacher Miss Koch agreed the room was looking forward to the day.
“They were extremely excited about today. They couldn’t quite believe they’d been at school for 100 days already.
“I’m sure their parents can’t either,” she added.
Miss Koch said the favourite activity for the students was drawing themselves as they would look in 100 years.
“We spoke about what they’re going to achieve by 100, so we had a range of things like driving an Alfa Romeo, and becoming a world champion soccer player,” she said.
Students also played a maths game to race to 100, decorated biscuits with 100s and 1000s, coloured-in and made silly glasses made of the number 100 and created decorated crowns to mark their 100 days of fun and learning they have put in this year.
