Catherine said she will perform songs from her new album Boneshaker, which was released today, as well as all the old favourites.
“It will be a gig for the crowd,” Catherine said.
“So if anyone comes to hear something specifically then I will play it for them.
“We make sure it is interactive and a lot of fun.”
Catherine said the band will be out on the road, and her long-time friend, Bill Chambers, (Kasey Chambers' father) will do support and will also be in the band.
Bill produced Catherine’s first EP when she was 14-years-old and her first full length album two years later, and she said he would always be involved in her career.
“We’ve been working together since day dot,” Catherine said. “I’m really glad about that too, because he is like a second dad to me and I love working with him, so it’s great.”
Catherine said she had been to Inverell previously, and loves the travel involved in touring.
“It’s always a great gig and always a great country crowd in Inverell, so I am looking forward to it,” she said.
“I always get itchy feet if I am staying at home and I enjoy seeing any new places. I’ve become a little bit addicted to that feeling. For me it’s something I need to do.”
