Retailer Best and Less currently trades from the ground floor of the building and it is proposed that the first floor redevelopment contain 12 two to three bedroom apartments.
The application states that the units will be placed around a rooftop garden space featuring a barbecue area, kids play area and community gardens, with street and garage parking available to the occupants.
Six windows will be added to the north east façade, and sections of the roof will be removed to allow natural light and ventilation to the internal roof gardens and private unit courtyards.
