Isaac Browett and Will Alliston were invited to attend the clinic after they were spotted by grammar coaches at the last Inverell Mini World Cup.
The Rale Rasic camp draws on the experience and talent of coaches and players from as far afield as England, Brazil, Afghanistan, current National Premier League coaches working for the South Queensland Thunder as well as former Australian world cup coach Rale Rasic.
The camp not only honed their technical skills, but also addressed the tactical skills required as well as athlete management.
The camp was also attended by Proctor and Kit Carson, two English academy directors from Ipswich Town in Nev, who were impressed by the standard of football on display.
Browlett and Alliston have had a stellar year with both invited to play for a regional representative team based in Armidale, and selected for their respective zone/diocesan school teams.
Toowoomba Grammar has established itself as a breeding ground for talented players. One of their senior students Nykodah Smith was presented with his team shirt at the conclusion of the clinic.
Smith was signed by one of the giants of Brazillian football in Botafogo FC, where he will wear the prestigious number 9 shirt, and play as a central striker.
It is the first time an Australian player has been signed by a Brazillian professional club.
Inverell district was delighted to establish ties with Toowoomba Grammar to help provide a pathway for talented footballers, both male and female, to excellent coaches and facilities in the hopes of young players being able to realize their dreams just as Smith has.
