Following on from investigations into recent break and enters in the Inverell area, about 10am on Saturday, December 3, a 14-year-old Inverell male was arrested at a house in Girle Street, Inverell.

He was returned to Inverell Police Station where he was charged with aggravated break, enter and steal from a dwelling in Howard Street, back on October 4, 2016.
He was bailed refused and appeared before Moree Children’s Court on December 5.
He is the second young person to be charged with breaking into these premises along with a 13-year-old Inverell male charged back on October 20, 2016.
The 13-year-old male will appear before Inverell Children’s Court for sentence on December 15, 2016.
Inverell Police are requesting assistance from the community in remaining vigilant throughout the day and night and report to either 000 or Inverell Police Station 6722 0599 any suspicious activity such as persons appearing to be watching premises and loitering in laneways etc.
