$1.35 million is earmarked for on ground projects across the North West region.
The North West Local Land Services Natural Resource Management programs are funded through the National Landcare Programme and Catchment Action NSW.
Sara Chapman, Team Leader Natural Resource Management at North West Local Land Services encourages land managers and groups across the North West region to apply for funding.
“We are looking to support projects that protect and manage rivers and creeks; control high priority weeds; manage threatening processes to improve native vegetation condition; improve habitat for threatened species; and revegetate or regenerate native vegetation,” she said.
“If you have a potential project in mind please call your nearest North West Local Land Services office and ask to talk to a member of the Natural Resource Management team to discuss the priorities for investment, and assist you with the application process” she said.
