POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a brawl at Talbot on Sunday in which a man was stabbed.

A 19-year-old male was taken to Maryborough District Health Service Hospital after being stabbed three times with a pocket knife during a brawl on Camp Street.
He treated for cuts to his stomach, back and side and was released a few hours later.
It is believed the altercation started between two groups just before 2am Sunday.
Up to eight people are believed to have been involved in the fight.
A 50-year-old male and a 49-year-old female were treated at the scene by paramedics for facial cuts and bruising.
A 19-year-old male, a 28-year-old male and a 17-year-old male have been interviewed by police.
They were later released pending further inquiries.
Maryborough Crime Investigation Unit Detective Senior Constable Matt Hayes said alcohol may have been a factor.
