The first race is set down for 12.06pm
There will be a total of $57,000 prizemoney up for grabs on the day, which Inverell Pacing Club president Jon Watts said was a significant amount.
“At this stage we have got eight races,” Watts said.
“We’ve got horses coming from as far away as Redcliffe, coastal NSW and all over the New England area.”
Watts said the Weidermann sisters from Toowoomba had nominated a lot of horses.
“They always support us. There has been times when our meeting wouldn’t hold up without them.” Watts said.
He said patrons could look forward to a great day of racing, especially on the newly upgraded track surface.
