The stud was established in 1957 by Herb and Geoff Reeves at Llangothlin.
Graham and Felicity took the reins in 2004 with sons Tyler and Bayden and in 2007 moved the operation to “Glen Clare”, Gum Flat.
In the the stud’s 60th year Kidman bloodlines have been prominent.
“The stud’s aim is to breed easy doing cattle, that will handle any conditions that they’re faced with, with a high fertility percentage,” Felicity Reeves said.
”We’ve most recently used the Kidman bloodlines and have been very happy with the way Kidman Calculate has influenced the Reevesdale progeny.
“We’re about to join Kidman Cryptic to Calculate’s daughters, bringing another branch to the bloodlines.”
Reevesdale will have bulls for sale at the 72nd annual Glen Innes Hereford Bull Sale on Friday, July 28, at 11am.
