Hugh Bowman, the regular rider of the mare as she amassed 16 straight wins including the past two Cox Plates, will be a guest speaker at the special night to aid the family of the late Tamworth jockey.
Jones, 48, died from injuries received in a race fall at Warialda in April.
The Tamworth Jockey Club has organised the charity night to raise money for his widow, Sheridan, and their two boys. It will be held next Thursday night.
The event starts 6pm and costs $50 a head, with children receiving free entry.
An auction containing many fine items will be held, and will include a number of Winx-related memorabilia.
Bowman will be joined at the fundraiser by former top jockey Malcolm Johnston. Sky Racing’s Greg Radley will be the event’s emcee and auctioneer.
It will be a busy night for Radley, with more than 50 items to be auction including a beautiful canvas photograph of Winx that has been signed by Bowman, an original Winx painting by Kristin Hardman and Winx racing colours signed by Bowman.
The auction also includes a special framed and signed Winx photograph as part of a Pub Group package.
The Pub Group’s Craig Power said: “We wanted to show our support of Sheridan and the two boys. I have known Darren and Sheridan for many years.
“Darren used to ride track work on some of the horses my dad raced.”
