The organisation will host a clothing and household sundries drive on Sunday, February 11 from 9am to 12pm. Donations can also be delivered to the Legacy Op Shop on 25 Byron Street, open from 9.30am-3.30pm Monday to Friday and 9am-12pm on Saturdays.
All good quality clothing and household items accepted, with the exclusion of furniture and electrical items.
To ensure pick up, residents are asked to place donation items outside their gate before 9am.
Collection crews will drive down every street in Inverell, including the Runnymede Drive area, Fernhill Road (to Vernon St), Ashford Road (to Burtenshaw’s Rd) and Old Bundarra Road (up to and including DeFraine’s Lane).
All collection vehicles will have signage and all volunteers will be wearing hi-vis vests.
Residents who prefer to leave donations out of sight, or in a garage, and those who live outside the collection area, are asked to contact Inverell Legacy by 4pm on Friday, February 9, providing their name, address and phone number.
If your items are missed by collection crews, contact Legacy on Monday, February 12.
