The visit, is the first Group Study Exchange that brings guests from Uganda to the area. But – judging from the enthusiasm of our guests – it won’t be the last.
“Australians are very wonderful people, very welcoming,” said Joan, whose vocational area of expertise is Public Health Services.
“I have been to several places and you don’t find many people who bring you into their own home. I have been to many countries, but you don’t find many with such a (warm) personal touch.”
The group visited hospitals, farms and many other organisations and were especially impressed by the Aussie team spirit and attitude.
Visitors passed through Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Tamworth, Taree, Narrabri, Moree and Lightning Ridge.
