In a match that will be talked about for weeks to come, the two captains of the Under 10s were Georgie and Jack B.
Georgie set out with Thomas to get the runs flowing which followed with some incredible batting efforts from Fergus who eclipsed his highest ever score and Rocco who doubled his own.
Myles was about to finish off the side’s total however had to leave the ground momentarily due to a wayward ball.
Jack B graciously left his own side to bat as Georgie’s tail end batter and amassed 23 runs.
From the bowling side Leo orchestrated a run-out during his own bowling as did Henry O.
Henry O also introduced his leg spinners to the competition with a couple of chances presenting themselves.
Jordan bowled some of the best we’ve seen this season and Kale completed the wicket haul with a run-out off Jack B’s bowling.
Connor and Corey kept the runs to a minimum with some excellent fielding on display.
In the run chase, Kale managed to equal his highest score and Leo beat his own.
Myles came out to take Jack’s place batting and contributed with some handy runs.
A number of wickets did come for Georgie’s side with Georgie securing another wicket from an excellent catch by Fergus at cover.
Thomas also took a wicket with a catch to Jack B followed by a Henry B stumping in Thomas’s next over.
Rocco and Myles also added to their haul.
Fergus and John bowled extremely well in their spells.
Another nail-biting finish with Georgie’s side bringing home the win by only a couple of runs again this week.
Winners of the week
Winners this week are Thomas and Jordan for their work with the ball and Myles for not only coming back on to the field, but also then taking a wicket bowling and scoring 18 runs batting.

Under 10’s are allowed on the wicket for a quick session from 6pm to 6.45pm.
