Doors will be open at Inverell, Warialda and Bingara fire stations from 10am to 2pm.
There will be an opportunity for children, and big kids too, to see the fire engines up close and get a personal glimpse into the fire and rescue service. Kids can possibly have a seat in the big rig.
Fire fighting uniforms will be on display and a few hard hats will be handed around for youngens to live their childhood dreams.
The open day is an excellent way to get your children familiar with the fire station. Head down and check it out!
Local stations participating in the open day include Warialda (19 Geddes Street), Bingara (44 Finch Street), Inverell (59 Evans Street), Glen Innes (202 Bourke Street), Armidale (66 Barney Street) and Uralla (28 Salisbury Street).
