Inverell Shire Council will run two four-week long courses for 14-20 year-olds keen to learn how to take apart and rebuild a computer.
The courses are free, and will take youth through the entire process of recycling parts from old and unwanted computers to build a working computer. Snacks and materials will be provided.
Hosted at the Dust Jacket book shop, the courses are identical. With two hour sessions, the first will run from 4-6pm from Tuesday, July 17 to Friday, July 20. The other course will run each Thursday for four weeks, including July 26, August 2, August 9 and August 16 from 4-6pm.
Registration is essential. Contact the council on 67 288 288 or council@inverell.nsw.gov.au.
