Neighbours were concerned by the blaze and two fire trucks responded to emergency calls.
The firefighters watched on to ensure that everything was under control. A number of curious passers by also stopped to watch the blaze.
The owners of the property had a permit that they obtained from the NSW Fire and Rescue Service, and were following all the conditions listed on the permit.
On Sunday, there were a few property owners that lit fires without permits and there is a police investigation into the incidents as property owners are required, by law, to have permits before lighting up.
