Shoppers to the Central Arcade can’t resist tinkling the ivories of the public piano across from the IGA. The words “PLAY ME” invite passers-by to play a tune and bring a little music into their lives. The Inverell Music Centre gave a sample of the joy music brings and entertained the crowds on Sunday, and the Women’s Choir will be back again at 4pm on October 28.

The initiative is part of a world-wide movement that has been going on for many years, but is happening in Inverell for the first time.
