Heather found the frame which includes two pictures of a young girl whilst visiting the lookout one morning and thought it may have been missed by its owner.
“I left it up there for a little while to see if anyone would claim it but it was still there when I came back,” she said.
After speaking with friends about potential ways to track down the owner, Heather opened the frame and checked the markings on the back of the photos.
Written in blue ink on the back of one images is ‘Maxine Grove 24.8.89’.
“They are nice photos, I would really like to find the owner,” she said.
Heather has left the frame and its contents at The Inverell Times.
If you own the frame or think you may know who owns it phone the Times office on 6720 0100 or call in.
