Between 6am on January 1 and 8am January 8 trees were run over in a Thunderbolts Way, Bundarra paddock and tracks which the property owner had not seen before.
A locked boundary gate had been driven over with a vehicle and damaged it beyond repair.
Information has been obtained that pig hunters had been trespassing in the area.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call the Rural Crime Prevention Team in Inverell 6722 0530/31 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
