Police believe the break and enter occurred at 4.30am where a number of items were removed along with the station wagon.
Later that morning, around 5.30am, the stolen vehicle was recovered in Lang Street Inverell and seized for forensic analysis.
Investigations are ongoing and police have requested anyone with information to contact the station on 6722 0599.
Meanwhile, on April 3 police attended a residence in Lang Street at around 6.20pm to arrest an 18-year-old male following investigations into a recent break and enter.
The break and enter occurred at a Shirley Street residence on March 21 where a number of electrical items were stolen including gaming devices.
The man was granted conditional bail to appear at Inverell Local Court on May 2. Enquiries continue into this incident in relation to possible co-offenders.
On Thursday, at around 10.15pm, three males known to each other engaged in a physical fight at a service station on the Warialda Road, Inverell.
It is alleged this confrontation had been arranged after a verbal dispute earlier that same evening. Enquiries are continuing into this incident with a 25-year-old Inverell male, a 20-year-old and 26-year-old Bundarra males to receive court attendance notices for affray.
The next day, April 5, patrolling police noticed an argument outside a licenced premises in Byron Street at around 8.40pm.
A 19-year-old Inverell male had allegedly been excluded from the premises by security due to intoxication and had attempted to re-enter the premises a number of times.
The male was given a move on direction by police however he failed to comply and continued to be argumentative.
He was then detained by police and issued with a number of infringement notices including; excluded person remain in vicinity of licensed premises ($550), excluded person re-enter licensed premises ($550), and continue intoxicated behaviour after a move on direction ($1100).
Later, at 12pm on April 7 a 27-year-old Inverell female attended a residence in Granville Street.
It is alleged the female attempted to enter the residence via a locked window before stealing a pet rainbow lorikeet and CCTV equipment. Police attended the residence and viewed CCTV footage of the incident.
They then attended a Brewery Street residence and arrested the 27-year-old female known to the victim.
The property including the rainbow lorikeet has been recovered. The female has been granted conditional bail to appear at Inverell Local Court on April 18.
