The change in uniform will not only celebrate Ladies Day, but also raise money for three rugby boys who'll change their footy boots to dancing shoes later next month.
Inverell Highlanders secretary Louise Wilson said the club had big plans for Ladies Day at Rugby Park this year.
"There will be a big, exclusive area for ticket holders near the sideline bar with a grazing table. Apparently there is a cold snap coming so there will be heaters," she said.
Pre-paid ticket holders will have access to unlimited drinks until 6pm, the grazing table and two tickets in the raffle all for just $40. On the day, the ticket price will rise to $50.
Or Ladies Day attendees can pre-pay $20 and get three complimentary drinks, access to the grazing table and one ticket to the raffle. On the day, this ticket will be $25.
"The idea is to pre-pay to get in cheaper. We're also having a fashions on the park. A judge will be walking around to pick a winner. There's no specific theme but dress for the weather and there will be a prize."
All three grades will take the field on Saturday hoping to roll the strong Tamworth Pirates. First grade and women's sevens will be wearing the special jerseys to be auctioned off at the end of first grade for Ryan Smith, Will Mann and Josh Stewart.
The rugby trio put up their hands to participate in Stars of the Sapphire City Dance for Cancer on June 14 in Inverell.
"I'm not sure of their dancing abilities but I do know what they can do on the field and if it's anything like their rugby skills, they might take out the competition. It'll be game on anyway," Wilson laughed.
Mann has also agreed to part with his infamous golden locks after the games on Saturday night, adding he was "keen to do some bald-room dancing".
He'll be shaving his whole head completely bald, taking donations to benefit his Dance for Cancer fundraising efforts.
Wilson encouraged locals to head down to Rugby Park on Saturday to cheer on players and enjoy Ladies Day.
"The rugby club is air-conditioned so it'll be warm and we have entertainment in the clubhouse so bring your dancing shoes," she said.
Wilson admitted Tamworth Pirates had and will always be a strong, competitive side in the competition, although she said no team should be under-estimated this year.
"Pirates are still in the stop five but it would be great to see a huge crowd cheering everyone on. Hopefully we roll them in all three grades."
