Not only have they enjoyed some good wins throughout the season and currently sit at the top of the ladder, but they are showing improvement every week.
On Sunday, the Saints made their away across to King George V Oval in Glen Innes for the Super Sunday gala day, playing two games each against the Glen Innes Celts and Tamworth Roosters.
The Saints copped one seven-point loss to the Roosters on the day but came away with wins in their other three matches.

Saints under-14s coach Gerry Taveira said he was "pretty happy" with the day's results.
"We started off the season pretty well and then we lost a couple of games which seemed to knock the confidence of the boys around," he said.
"They're slowly starting to work as a team. We've got a couple of good players which have been keeping us in games. We're slowly seeing the improvement."
While the team's results have been pleasing, Taveira said their main focus has been on improving each week.
"I don't think it's a case of winning the competition, just general development," he said.
"If we happen to win, great, but it's more a case of just getting them playing football and enjoying the game and recruiting a few more kids to the game."
This is the first year the AFL North West has had an under-14s competition and Taveira said it was great to see it introduced after they had been "crying out for juniors" for a while.
"As long as the kids are having a competition because there was a bit of losing a lot of kids," he said.
"Out of Auskick there was no competition for them to play and they were going to other codes.
"Hopefully they now have a pathway into senior football, having that 14s team is a start."
All teams are improving and it's creating a more even and open competition as the season goes on.
Taveira said it's just "great to see the kids having a go."
"It's good to see the three teams are working together at the moment to ensure they get enough football," he said.
'Making sure they get games is the main thing. Once they turn a certain age after Auskick they want games so it's great to see they have that opportunity."
The under-14s will have the bye this week as all juniors prepare for the Northern NSW representative carnival next week on July 9 to 10.
AFL North West will enter an under-13s, under-15s, under-17s and youth girls team to compete in the carnival against AFL North Coast and AFL Hunter Central Coast.
