The Nomads will now face Gunnedah Bulldogs in Saturday's grand final at Wolseley Oval.
Bulldogs coach Doug Meagher said Inverell loss was unsurprising to him, adding the Armidale side will "present a real challenge".
The Bulldogs will attempt to regain the premiership they last won in 2017.
"I knew what [Inverell] could bring. The Nomads are an unknown. And having spoken to a number of other people, their speed and skill is always gonna be a very big concern."
