Records show that the total amount of goods collected weighed in at 8.76 tonnes and all goods collected were distributed into different product lines at the refuse centre.
The Inverell MacIntyre Lions Club utilise this project as their main environmental project each year, and records show that in the eight years of participating in this project, the Club has been able to collect 88 tonnes of white goods and e-waste.
The Club also sees this project as a great service to the rate payers as it is a free service offered to them by the Inverell Shire Council and the Inverell MacIntyre Lions Club is only too happy to assist the community with this project.
