Any women who run, manage, work in or support their partner, in business are welcome to attend the first meeting for the new year on January 15.
Broker Janine Beveridge started the initiative after previously being involved in a similar Business Network International (BNI) group elsewhere.
Since relocating, Debbie Traynor took over the role of main organiser.
"It's about women joining together to do a bit of networking, socialising, learning more about each other's businesses and supporting each other.
"I think it has turned out to be successful because it gives ladies an opportunity to get together for a chat," she said.
Women across a wide range of industry, from real estate, hairdressing, massage, hunting, fishing, cafe owners and everywhere in between, catch up over lunch once a month.
No formal minutes are read or notes taken, but women are encouraged to share issues or topics they think may be of interest to the group.
"We pre-order lunch so it's ready when we get there. Everyone is busy so you're in and out in an hour and a half but you don't feel rushed. New members are always welcome," she said.
To support multiple, local businesses the lunch locations change each month as well as the number of attendees.
"Some months we get 25 ladies, other months we get seven but each month we always get together, chat and help each other out by putting our heads together and discussing topics and issues," Debbie said.
The January 15 meeting will be held at 12.30pm at the Sporties. RSVP's are encouraged before January 13.
