New England Police District commander superintendent Scott Tanner said those names and addresses were then tasked out to his officers.
"If they are going to see someone who has got Covid they've got masks and gloves, and they'll contact the person before hand just to say they are coming around just to do a compliance check.
"'We won't be coming into you house, but come to the door, we'll be in your front garden, things like that."
Supt Tanner said it was more than just reminding those on the list of their obligations for his officers.
"We check on their health, to make sure they're okay, to make sure that someone is supplying them with food and things like that, and that they don't need anything," he said.
"If they don't have that sort of thing in place, we'll contact the relevant agencies to make sure they get that support.
"At other times when we're informed of different people breaching their Ministerial orders, we'll make further checks in regard to that and take the action that we need to."
He said no such actions had been necessary yet because everyone was complying.
"We have a police operations centre in Sydney being staffed 24/7, and has representatives from all government and non government agencies, so we just put a request up to them," he said.
"We really are making sure people are OK, and that they understand what the ramifications are and what their responsibilities are.
"If we go through this crisis and we haven't issued one ticket or arrested one person, then that will be great."
