The overall results were also excellent and everyone did a good job and was to be congratulated a spokesperson for the gym said.
"Level 1 team came in first place overall, our Level 2 team were overall silver medalists, our Level 3 team were also overall silver medalists and our Level 4 team were overall bronze medal winners," they said.
Last month the gym took part in an unprecedented event which involved more than one thousand gymnasts from across Australia and New Zealand.
On Sunday November 15 the Level 3 and Level 4 gymnasts from Inverell BCI Gymnastics Inc. competed in the 2020 Country Capital Cup Online.
Competitors from New South Wales, West Australia, South Australia, Queensland and New Zealand all performed in their own gyms in a unique competition which was streamed through ZOOM and judged on line due to COVID 19 restrictions.
BCI Gymnastics gymnasts competed on all four apparatus - bars, beam, vault and floor and did themselves, their families and their coaches proud achieving the following outstanding results.
Level 3: Silver medals Abby Blackburn and Sienna Hunt; Bronze medals Chloe Bannerman, Charlotte Dennis, Ashleigh Haidle, Lilliana Haidle Chelsea Krauss, Ella McGavin and Bauhinia Wolfenden -Woods.
Level 4: Silver medals Kobie Cox and Tiarnah Ehsman-Hill; Bronze medals Charlotte Dunlop and Abby Wilson.
The competitors and their families gave thanks to the coaches Maureen Burke, Maurie Burke, Rhiannon Doyle, Cilla Bannerman and Amy Dunlop who worked tirelessly with the girls preparing them for this competition.
Everyone was also grateful to Lauren McGavin who did the videoing of the routines for the club and Jessica Kastelein, who assisted her.
"Without the support of all these people we could not have achieved what we did," they said.
The success comes off the back of an announcement earlier this year that BCI Gymnastics would receive a $5,000 State Government grant to improve the safety of the gym equipment.
The gym currently has 33 gymnasts enrolled in competition level programs, 33 in the recreation gym classes and 11 students enrolled in the pre-level classes who are working hard to reach competition standard.
