All eyes were rightly on Prime Minister Scott Morrison as he responded to an explosive Ten News report that revealed a government staffer had filmed himself performing a sex act on the desk of a female Member of Parliament before sharing it in a group chat.
The PM claimed he was horrified by the stories that had emerged since former Liberal staffer Brittany Higgins revealed she was allegedly raped in Defence Minister Linda Reynolds' office.
He even choked back tears at one point.
But his tone quickly changed when asked by Sky News political editor Andrew Clennell whether he had lost control of his ministerial staff.
The PM warned Clennell to "be careful" and claimed allegations had been made against a colleague of the reporter.
But Clennell later revealed a senior media adviser confirmed the PM was not referring to Sky News.
So Mr Morrison wasn't across the alleged rape of Ms Higgins in a ministerial office two years ago, but he knows about an investigation being conducted by a media company's HR team...
Now to the weather.
NSW and south-east Queensland residents continue to be hit with heavy rainfall, causing significant flooding.
The SES started evacuating people living in the lower reaches of the Hawkesbury River on Tuesday afternoon.
Heavy rainfall and flooding are occurring at the same time in NSW, which is what makes this weather event so dangerous.
The Bureau of Meteorology has issued flood watches and flood warnings from the Queensland border all the way down the east coast to Victoria.
Wilsons Promontory, Victoria's southern-most tip, and surrounding areas are set to be hit with 150-200mm of rain over the next 24 hours.
Melbourne is likely to avoid the worst of the rain and winds, but that could change if the low-pressure system shifts.
Tasmania is also preparing for a downpour, with the bureau issuing a severe weather warning for damaging winds and surf, as well as, heavy rainfall in the state's north-east.
