Night time asphalt works have now been completed in between Lawrence and Vivian Streets.
The next stage will see pin oaks planted on April 13, taking around four days.

Traffic now flows in both directions, with reverse parallel parking available on both sides of the street.
Mayor Paul Harmon told the Times that work was on track and is set to finish on schedule, or even before.
"The upgrade in the CBD is ahead of schedule. What was supposed to take 14 weeks the crew had done in nine, so amazing, they've really got it down to a fine art," Cr Harmon said.
The trees will still have some foliage on them when they are planted, before they move into the dormant stage.
"It is really going to make Byron Street as attractive as what Otho Street is."
